Anthony J. Scott Sr., “Tony”, age 83 of Conshohocken, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Tony was born in Philadelphia on Thursday, February 23, 1939, son of Patricia (McVey) Scott. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth T. (Torres) Scott, “Betsy”, for over 59 years. Tony was raised in Philadelphia graduating from North Catholic High School. He married the love of his life, Betsy (Torres) Scott on Saturday, June 15, 1963. Together they raised their 2 boys in Conshohocken. He was employed as a professional truck driver by Tose Trucking and later Ashland Chemical Company. Tony enjoyed sports, especially basketball and the Philadelphia teams; and playing cards, especially Poker. Above all, he was a family man, who loved his wife, children and grandchildren. Beside his wife, Betsy,; Tony is survived by 2 sons, Anthony J. Scott Jr. (Dorothy) and Christopher J. Scott (Kelly); 6 grandchildren: Alexandra Sims, Maria Elena, Victoria & Anthony J. Scott III, Nicole Elizabeth and Alexa Leigh Scott; 2 brothers, Louis and James Trappler. Services and interment were held privately and restricted to immediate family.
