Betina C. Piergrossi

Betina C. (McCarthy) Piergrossi, “Betsy”, age 82 of Cape May County and formerly Trooper, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2022. Betsy was born on Wednesday, March 13, 1940 daughter of the late John and Bettie (Fairlie) McCarthy. She was the beloved wife of Carmen Piergrossi Sr. “Bucky” for over 42 years. Betsy was born and raised in Conshohocken, where she attended St. Matthew grade school and graduated Conshohocken High School Class of 1958. She married the love of her life, Carmen Piergrossi Sr. “Bucky” in 1961. Betsy and Bucky raised their 5 children in Trooper, PA attending Visitation BVM Church. She loved living her retirement years at the Jersey Shore; gardening; animals; exercising; walking and reading. She is survived by: a son, Michael; 3 daughters, Cecilia “Kelly” Felice (Donald), Bridget McGrath (Michael), and Agnes Saviello (Mike Walsh); her brother, John McCarthy; 8 grandchildren (Dante, Benjamin) (Michael Jr., Riley, Katherine) (Lucas, John Paul, Juliette); many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Beside her husband, Carmen Sr. “Bucky Sr”; she was also predeceased by her son, Carmen Jr. “Bucky”. Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects on Saturday morning, May 28th, from 9-10:20AM in St. Matthew RC Church, 3rd Ave. & Fayette St., Conshohocken.
