Frank Joseph Carlin Sr.

Francis Joseph Carlin Sr., “Peaches”, age 80 of Conshohocken PA and Brooksville Florida died on Friday, June 17, 2022. Frank was born on August 31, 1941 at Doctors Hospital in Philadelphia PA. He was the son of the late Andrew B. and Bernadette (Francis) Carlin. Frank spent the last 65 years of his life residing in Conshohocken. As of 15 years ago Frank became a “Snowbird” and spent his winters in Brooksville Florida. In 1959 Frank enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country for several years. After his time in the service; he spent the next 40 years driving tractor trailers for Toes Trucking and Wonderbread Bakery. Frank served the Conshohocken community for over 49 years as a firefighter, engineer, part-time paid driver and trustee for the Washington Fire Company No. 1. During his winters in Florida; he loved spending time selling his treasures at the local flea market. He also spent many years working with Captain Carol at Weeki Wachee Springs. He is survived by: 4 sons Andrew V. Carlin (Jacqueline), Francis J Carlin Jr, Robert P. Carlin, Stephen R. Carlin (Brianna); his daughter Rochelle S. Carlin; 8 grandchildren Ashley(Jeff), Paige, Taylor, Morgan, Cyrus, Joey, Duke and Kai; 5 sisters Bernadette, Andrea, Maggie, Mary Jane and Kaycee; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his siblings Rosemarie, Joseph, Susan and Gerald “Buzzy”. Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects on Tuesday morning, June 21st from 9-10:20AM in St. Matthew RC Church, 3rd Ave. & Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428. Mass of Christian Burial will comence in the church at 10:30AM. Internment is private. Professional arrangements are by the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette Street, Conshohocken. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Saint Matthews Church at the aforementioned address.
