Madeline Theresa Childs

March 8, 1959 - January 20, 2022

Madeline Theresa (Werner) Childs, age 62 of West Conshohocken, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. She was born in Philadelphia on Sunday, March 8, 1959 daughter of the late Joseph H. and Dorothy B.(Hull) Werner. She was the beloved wife and life long partner of Frank R. Childs, Jr for 39 years. Madeline was raised in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, where she attended Roxborough High School. She was employed by Diversified Digital Printing Co. for many years. Much of her life was devoted to raising her children and homemaking. She lived everyday for her children and grandchildren and cherished being a wife, mother and grandmother. Beside her husband Frank, she is survived by: two sons, Edwin Haury (Kerrie) and Keith Haury (Mark); one daughter, Sarah McCarter (Thomas); one brother, Ronald Werner; four sisters, Cindy Malatesta, Sandy Lavin, Becky Werner and Debbie Miller; 10 grandchildren, Madeline, Dylan, John, Logan, Alex, Jake, Kayla, Giovanna, Brayla and Braylen; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by: three brothers, Joseph, Jimmy, and Tommy; three sisters, Linda, Susie and Dolly. Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects on Friday morning, January 28th, from 9-10:45AM at the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette St., Conshohocken. A service will commence in the funeral home at 11AM officiated by Rev. Bradley Lacey. Internment is private.
