Marie Catherine Bean Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marie Catherine (Jenski) Bean, age 90 of West Conshohocken, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on August 14, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Sniegowski) Jenski. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Bean Sr. Marie along with her three siblings were raised on the 300 block of E. Elm St. in Conshohocken. As a local Conshohocken resident, she attended St. Mary’s Church, St. Mary’s grade school and graduated from Conshohocken High School. Marie’s life exemplified kindness, love, compassion, and grace. She brightened the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to meet her. She worked for: Hamilton Paper Co., W. Conshohocken McDonalds, St. Gertrude Church Rectory, and the West Conshohocken Borough. She also served as secretary for the West Conshohocken Hometowners. Most nice days, you could find her relaxing on her porch in her favorite purple rocking chair. She loved reading, enjoying her flower garden, staying active with her vibrant group of friends, and playing Bingo. She enjoyed baking and preparing big family meals for every holiday for everyone who came to visit her. Marie was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She treasured her family and friendships and always made sure to let them know how thankful and blessed she was for them. Marie will be deeply missed. She is survived by her five sons, Robert, John (Linda), David (Karen Shore), Michael (Amanda) and Thomas; her daughter, Linda Ferst (Drew); her sister, Kathleen (Al) Leghan; five grandchildren, Andrew Ferst (Katie), Jennifer Fernandez (Frank), Christopher Bean, Becca Cavalieri and Gracelyn Marie Bean; two great-grandchildren, Julianna Marie and Alessandra Fernandez; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Jenski Sr. her sister, Elizabeth Angelilli, and son Joseph J. Bean Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects on Wednesday evening, July 13th, from 6-8 PM or on Thursday morning, July 14th, from 8:30-10 AM at the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette St., Conshohocken. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM in St. Matthew RC Church, 3rd Ave. & Fayette St., Conshohocken. Interment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery in W. Conshohocken. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: St. Matthew’s Parish 219 Fayette Street Conshohocken, PA 19428.
