Walter E. Deuber Jr., “Wally”, age 70 of Conshohocken, died on Friday, April 20, 2018. He was born in Conshohocken on September 21, 1947 son of the late Walter E. Sr. and Madeline (Kurkowski) Deuber. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Steele) Deuber for 49 years. Wally was a lifelong resident of Conshohocken growing up on Hector Street and raising his family on West 4th Avenue. He truly enjoyed the Conshohocken community often saying there’s no better place on earth. He was employed by C&D Battery and more recently Hale Pump. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, doo wop music, soap operas, and the Philadelphia sports teams. He loved his family more than anything and his passion was his grandchildren. Besides his wife Judith, he is survived by: 2 sons, Douglas E. of Collegeville and David Van of Conshohocken; a daughter, Shannon Deuber of Conshohocken; 2 brothers, Thomas (Deborah) of Flourtown and George; a sister, Christine Brower (Chris) of Conshohocken; 2 loving sister-in-law’s, Kathleen Sotera (Joseph) of Norristown and Arlene Paschall (Vincent) of Norristown; 4 grandchildren, Marissa, Derek, Morgan and Logan; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Madeline “Sissy” Lester. Relatives and friends may pay respects on Friday morning, April 27th, from 9-10:50am at the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette St., Conshohocken. A service will commence in the funeral home at 11am officiated by Rev. Bradley Lacey. Interment is private.
