Rosalie Headley Andrews

Rosalie Headley Andrews, Beloved and Faithful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother went to Glory at her home in King of Prussia, PA during the early morning of October 25th, 2018. She dedicated her life to Jesus Christ and to her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Andrews, Sr. and daughter, Jena Rose Andrews. She devoted herself to being a Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Survived By Children: James Squire Mills Andrews, Beth Andrews Goyert, Amy Lynne Andrews, Daniel Headley Andrews, and Richard Lee Andrews, Jr. Grandchildren: Liam James and Jena Faith Andrews, John and Juliet Goyert, Christina Michener, Kellie Victoria Andrews, Benjamin Ian Andrews, Michael Colvin Andrews, Kimberly Rose McCorkell, and Richard Lee Andrews, III. Great Grandchildren: Brynn Theresa Andrews-Michener, Blake William Andrews, Jared Joseph Andrews, Austin Michael Andrews, Colvin Edward Andrews, Violet Joy McCorkell, Autumn Hope McCorkell, Athan Gabriel McCorkell, Isaac Theophilus Andrews, Noah David Andrews, Rebecca Leigh Andrews, and Grace Elisabeth Andrews. History Born to Zillah Hogan Headley and Squire Lum Headley on June 11, 1928 in Wharton, New Jersey, she loved other people, the living Christ and music. She enjoyed living in Dover, NJ where her father owned a business on Princeton Avenue. The family then moved to Milton, NJ. She graduated from Butler High School, in Butler, NJ and went on to study at New Jersey State Teachers College at Trenton and Newark, earning a teaching certificate. She met her future husband, a Princeton University student, during this time. After first living in East Orange, NJ, the family moved to Parsippany, NJ (near Boonton) and bought their first home on Intervale Road. The family then moved to Cuyahoga Falls, OH for about six months and then finally settled in King of Prussia, PA. All five children attended Upper Merion School District in King of Prussia and graduated from college. In King of Prussia, Rosalie was active in the local Women’s Club and enjoyed bridge with friends and family. Always diligent to encourage her children to attend church, her final church home was the Conshohocken Vineyard Church, at which her grandson, Richard Lee Andrews, III is Pastor. She enjoyed family gatherings at the homestead in Milton. She loved vacationing in Ocean Grove, NJ. Her focus was always the happiness and well-being of her family. She played piano her whole life and encouraged the children to learn an instrument. Music constantly played throughout our home. Kindness and faithfulness characterized her life. The family depended on her strength, honor and wisdom every day. Her love was the music of our life. We will miss her, yet she is and will always be a living part of us. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
