Adam R.  Moore

Adam R. Moore, Funeral Director / Life Insurance Producer

Adam R. Moore grew up in the Conshohocken area attending Mother of Divine Providence Grade School and Upper Merion High School. Adam was an accomplished football player for Upper Merion High School aiding his team in winning the 1994 Championship and receiving numerous local and state awards and recognitions for his performance. He ranked 3rd in Pennsylvania as an offensive guard. After high school, Adam attended Villanova University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance. After his 2000 graduation from Villanova University he enrolled in Mercer County College's Mortuary Program graduating in 2002 at the top of his class. He is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. Adam is a certified life insurance agent enabling him to prefund funerals with insurance instruments. He grew up in the funeral business helping his grandmother, Elizabeth V. Moore and his father, Robert. He is currently a volunteer of the: Conshohocken Ambucs, Meals on Wheels, Visiting Nurse Association and Treasurer for the St. Vincent DePaul Society. His hobbies include outdoor activities and working with his hands, more specifically: dirt bike riding, weight training, fishing, all things to do with engineering and electronics, woodworking, model trains and history. Adam enjoys his career because it offers him the opportunity to continue the Moore family's funeral heritage. "Although the tasks of a funeral director are most challenging at times, there is a great sense of accomplishment associated with guiding people through the grief process".


Robert W.  Moore, Sr.

Robert W. Moore, Sr., Funeral Director

Robert was born and raised in Conshohocken at the Moore family homestead, which is the funeral home. He assisted his father, William A. Moore and his mother, Elizabeth V. Moore, along with his brothers Billy, Tony and Michael with the family funeral business. By being raised in the family's residence above the funeral home, he received an invaluable level of first hand experience in traditional funeral directing. Robert graduated from St. Matthew's Grade School and High School. He was an accomplished football player for the St. Matthew's squad receiving a varsity letter as a freshman and starting all four years. Robert's strong work ethic and ability to connects with others bears its roots in his early twenties. This is when he joined the ranks of Allan Wood Steel as a pipe fitter. As a young patriotic steel worker during the Vietnam War, Robert decided to do his part by joining the Army Reserves. His tenure at the steel plant lasted 14 years. Then, at age 32, Robert enrolled in Montgomery County Community College, where he received an associate degree. He then attended McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in Manhattan, New York. He graduated from mortuary school in 1980. All his education was concurrent with being a father and bread winner to his family. After receiving his funeral directing license, he was able to run the funeral business with his mother, who also held a license. Mother and son made an unbeatable team as was witnessed by so many families served. Robert has a wife, Bernardine (Aptacy) Moore, and 3 kids: Robert Jr., Adam and Alicia Marie. He is most proud of his family and the funeral legacy, which he has kept going. His hobbies and interests are: time with his family, fishing, riding his ATV with his boys, working with his hands and gardening.
