Mary Ann (Brown) Williams, age 87 of Conshohocken, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022. She was born in West Conshohocken on Sunday January 6, 1935 daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Kearns) Brown. She was the beloved wife of James F. Williams for 63 years. Mary Ann was raised on E. 8th Ave. in Conshohocken. She was a life long member of St. Matthew Church, and attended St. Matthew grade school and graduated from St. Matthew High School Class of 1952. She then attended Moore Institute of Art in Philadelphia. She was employed by Quaker Chemical Company in Conshohocken for over 25 years. Mary Ann was a talented artist; especially with oil painting. As a skilled artist, who loved being among children; she volunteered for many years as an art teacher assistant for St. Matthew’s grade school. She also enjoyed baking, often making cakes and cupcakes for family, friends and special events; gardening; and hosting parties and impromptu get-togethers. Above all, she loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Beside her husband, James; she is survived by: 2 daughters, Marie Williams and Jacqueline Ferraioli; a sister, Kathleen Brown; 3 grandchildren, Nicole, Adam and Rachel. She was predeceased by her son, Jimmy. Relatives and friends are invited to pay respects on Friday morning, August 5th from 9-10:15AM in St. Matthew RC Church, 3rd Ave. & Fayette St., Conshohocken. Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 10:30AM in the church. Internment, Calvary Cemetery in W. Conshohocken.
