Josetta Ventresca

Josetta (Marcolina) Ventresca, age 71 of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Philadelphia on May 26, 1954, the daughter of the late Felix A. Marcolina and Josetta (Quinn) Morrone. She was the beloved husband of Joseph “Joe” McCole for over 20 years. Born at Chestnut Hill Hospital and a graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School, Josetta spent twelve years running the assistant principal’s office at Wissahickon Middle School and later worked as a bookkeeper at the Arc Alliance until her retirement. Organized and always dependable, she brought care to everything she did. Family was the center of Josetta’s life. She treasured holidays, Sunday dinners, summer barbecues, and trips to Ocean City, creating lifelong traditions. Christmas Eve was her favorite holiday, marked by watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, baking homemade cookies, and a house full of family. She shared twenty wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband Joe. She was a devoted mother to her children, Cara and Paul, and a loving stepmother to Ryan, Jordan, and Connor. Her greatest joy, however, was her thirteen cherished grandchildren. She delighted in each of them and never missed a milestone—no matter how big or small. A devoted Phillies fan who loved classic films, musicals, and eating out with her friends, she was always impeccably put together, never missing her weekly hair and nail appointments. She will always be remembered for her warmth and deep devotion to family. Besides her fiance’ Joe; Josetta is survived by: her daughter, Cara Kish (Ricky); her son, Paul (Sean); her stepdaughter Ryan McCole (Mike Bucari); her stepdaughter, Jordan Maisch (Tom); her stepson, Connor (Mary Jane); and 13 grandchildren: Nathan, Kelsey, Lucas, Max, Charlotte, Callie, Tommy, Cole, Benjamin, Daniel, Abigail, Carter, and Mia; and many cousins and dear friends. Relatives and friends may pay respects on Friday morning, February 27th, from 9 to 9:45AM at Our Mother of Consolation RC Church, 9 E Chestnut Hill Ave - Philadelphia PA, 19118.
